When she got older, she did a chemistry experiment with autumn leaves, trying to separate out the colour constituents. When she discovered the art of botanical printing on cloth, she was immediately in love! It turns out that the magic of transferring leaf prints onto cloth is also chemistry and science-based. From there, the process of natural dyes from leaves and flowers is a natural step... There are many ways to coax a leaf print onto fabric, and she is determined to capture what she can in this life.
